Marjoram
Marjoram (Origanum majorana) has long been one of the most prized of the herbs. It has a flavor similar to oregano, but is less robust and more sweetly scented. Marjoram is often used as a substituted for oregano especially in recipes where a more subtle flavor is desired. Before hops were discovered, Marjoram was widely used in the brewing of beer.In Greek the word used for marjoram means "joy of the mountains". The plants was a symbol of happiness to the Greeks and Romans and newlyweds in Rome were crowned with wreaths made from the herb.
We source our marjoram in Egypt and select material that has a minty-sweet flavor and a slight background bitterness. Marjoram is an herb with 1,000 uses. Try it with beans, peas and spinach. It is also wonderful in salads and stuffing.

in glass tubes containing three beans or 8 ounce and 17 ounce vacuum sealed pouches.
There are approximately 40 beans in an 8 ounce pouch. Since our beans are
