Pure Key Lime Extract can be used in
key lime pie, lime pound cake, lime cheese cake and in sauces and glazes for fish and chicken dishes. Try adding this extract to orange juice, cranberry juice and fruit salad. It can also be used to flavor beer and wine. You can replace pure lemon extract and pure orange extract in any recipe with pure key lime extract. It is an easy and delicious way to change your favorite cake and cookie recipes.

Key Lime Blondie
Renee Duncan from “Blondies by the Babe” in Capitol Heights, Maryland submitted this recipe. She offers her homemade blondies in ten delicious flavors. To order call 202-292-8473.
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups all purpose flour
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 sticks of softened butter
2 tbsp. Silver Cloud Pure Key Lime Extract
1 tsp. baking powder
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and brown sugar in electric mixer on medium speed with paddle attachment until smooth. While the mixer is running, add eggs and lime extract.
In a bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder. Slowly add flour mixture to batter and mix on low speed until thoroughly blended. Pour mixture into a greased baking pan.
Bake for 45 minutes

in glass tubes containing three beans or 8 ounce and 17 ounce vacuum sealed pouches.
There are approximately 40 beans in an 8 ounce pouch. Since our beans are
sold by weight, depending on the size of the beans, the number in a pouch will
vary.

This month we have added a number of imitation flavors including Peanut Butter. We are focusing our efforts on developing a complete line of flavors that have special appeal to customers of Mexican, South and Central American descent. As part of this effort we have started offering Imitation Dulce de Leche, Horchata and Lychee Extract. We have also added under pure and natural flavors a Chirimoya, Natural Flavor Blend. Next month, look for Papaya, Margarita and Condensed Milk
