Pure Bergamot Extract
Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) is a small citrus fruit, which grows primarily in Southern Italy around Reggio Calabria. While the fruit from this cross of a Seville orange and pear lemon is sour and not edible, the oil from the peel is used in Earl Grey tea. Bergamot oil is also used in fragrances, candymaking and aromatherapy. The Bergamot orange is unrelated to the herb of the same name.
While bergamot has a beautiiful aroma and is perfectly safe when consumed as a flavor, we do not recommed that you apply this extract to the skin. The oil has been linked to photosensitivity in some people and could cause a skin rash.
Silver Cloud's Pure Bergamot Extract contains alcohol, water and pure oil bergamot. It can be used in baking, beverages and for cooking. Try a few drops of this extract in your tea to make Earl Grey tea. This extract is sugar and gluten-free.

in glass tubes containing three beans or 8 ounce and 17 ounce
vacuum sealed pouches. There are approximately 40 beans
in an 8 ounce pouch. Since our beans are sold by weight,
depending on the size of the beans, the number in a pouch
will vary.
