Black Currant (Ribes nigrum) is a berry native to Northern Europe and Northern Asia. The berry has a wonderful, slightly astringent, sweet, grape-like flavor. In Europe black currant is as popular a flavor as grape is in the United States.
Our Black Currant, Natural Flavor Blend is extremely versatile and is great when added to syrups, tea, beer, vodka, wine and sauces for beef, chicken, ham and game. It can also be used to replace grape or berry flavors in any beverage, baking or ice cream recipe.This extract contains propylene glycol, alcohol and natural flavor. in glass tubes containing three beans or 8 ounce and 17 ounce
vacuum sealed pouches. There are approximately 40 beans
in an 8 ounce pouch. Since our beans are sold by weight,
depending on the size of the beans, the number in a pouch
will vary.
